1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how petite (“petite”, “we”, “us” or “our”), operating the website petiteshop.in, collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data. For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), petite is the Data Fiduciary that decides how and why your personal data is processed.

We only ask for what we genuinely need to send you your order and support you well.
- Details you give us at checkout / when you contact us: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, and order details.
- Payment information: your card, UPI, net-banking or wallet payments are processed securely by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank passwords on our servers.
- Support conversations: messages you send us over WhatsApp, email or phone so we can help you.
- Automatically collected data: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use our site, gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see the Cookies section below).
3. How we use your information
We process your personal data to:
- Process, pack, ship and deliver your orders;
- Take payments and issue refunds where applicable;
- Send order confirmations, shipping updates and respond to your questions (by email, phone or WhatsApp);

We keep your personal data only as long as needed to fulfil your orders, provide support, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

We use reasonable security safeguards to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Payments are handled over encrypted, PCI-DSS-compliant gateways. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our store is intended for customers aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will remove it.
